Peter Burrows conceived the Burrows Drive Day over 10 years ago as an opportunity for himself and a few mates to enjoy their cars on a closed, safe circuit.

The day was resurrected in 1999 and over the past 4 years, has grown to become one of the most popular drive days in NSW for owners of prestige vehicles.
 
From its humble beginnings of a few mates, the Burrows Drive Days have developed into an invitation only, limited driver event that is regularly booked out, while attracting some of the most exotic machinery in the country.

The event has become patronised by not only the owners of this exotica, but also the manufacturers of these cars who recognise the day as an opportunity to allow their clients to experience their machinery in the arena for which they were created.

Philosophy

The Burrows Drive Day is about learning more about you and your vehicles capabilities. All of our events are strictly non-competitive and are set up for people to use their own road going vehicle on the circuit. So, if you're fed up with speed humps, cameras and traffic, this is your chance to go and play 
  
Added to this is the driving instruction from professional racing drivers to help all who attend understand not only the track and its intricacies, but also their cars and how to handle them at speed. On our day, professional instructors will sit beside you in your car and, without any pressure, help you with the correct lines through the corners and generally make you feel competent on the track and in your car.

Structure

The event starts at 8.00am sharp with morning tea, then a catered lunch break at 12.30pm with the track closing at 4.30pm.

The day is strictly limited to 20 drivers in 4 driving groups: New Drivers, Intermediate Drivers, Advanced Road Cars and Advanced Track Cars. Each group receives 15 minute track sessions alternating through the day, with instruction available to all groups during all sessions. All sessions are strictly non-competitive with no lap timing allowed.
 
Advanced Group drivers will be able to commence free laps immediately after the morning briefing, while new group and intermediate Group drivers remain in the briefing room for further theory with the instructors.

All new group drivers will also participate in a group track reconnaissance in passenger vehicles driven by the instructors and will have an instructor in the car with them for their first session. All drivers are guaranteed time with an instructor and will be allocated an instructor to see through the day.
